What is Acupuncture?
Acupuncture is a Chinese medical treatment over 3,000 years old, based on regulating the body’s Qi (pronounced “chee”), or “life energy”, which flows in the body along pathways called meridians.
Using only sterile one-time use disposable hair thin needles, our New York State Licensed Acupuncturist, Chris C. Chen L.Ac., MSTOM, Dipl. O.M. (NCCAOM), ADS, can access any of the hundreds of acupuncture points that can be opened like gates to balance and harmonize the flow of Qi, relieving pain and many other health conditions.
Acupuncture excels at integrating the body, mind and spirit to promote health and balance. The focus of acupuncture has always been the prevention of pain or diseases by establishing and maintaining all aspects of an individual's health.
Safe and effective, acupuncture treats many forms of trauma and conditions, addressing physical along with emotional and spiritual imbalances.
