What to Expect From Your Acupuncture Treatments

Chris C. Chen, L.Ac., MSTOM, Dipl. O.M. (NCCAOM), ADS, our Board Certified New York State Licensed Acupuncturist, uses only sterile one-time use disposable hair thin needles.
Your initial treatment will involve an intake questionnaire and a health history consultation.
Initial visits are approximately 75 minutes, and follow-up visits are usually 60 minutes.
Chris takes pride in providing gentle, calming techniques to make your experience a pleasant, restful and comfortable one.
What About Chinese Herbal Formulas?
Chris is a National Board Certified Diplomate of Oriental Medicine, Acupuncture with Point Location, Chinese Herbology, and Biomedicine.
He will sometimes recommend Chinese herbal prescriptions as an important compliment to your specific overall care and treatment. Herbs work together with acupuncture to regulate the flow of energy and substances in the body. Together they stimulate the body's natural functions and encourage it to establish optimum balance.
Our Chinese herbal formulas are from the largest Chinese Herbal Pharmacy on the East Coast. Established since 1973, and extensively tested for consistency and safety standards, these herbs can be taken with confidence and assurance in their quality.
